Role: Senior Internal Auditor
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Oman-Salalah. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating financial and operational processes, conducting internal audits, and providing recommendations to enhance our organization’s operations and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal audits to assess internal controls, financial systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate financial and operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Develop audit programs and testing procedures to address significant risks.
- Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with management to provide guidance on internal control best practices and process improvements.
- Monitor and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations for compliance and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to maintain effective and compliant internal audit processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in internal audit, preferably in MONEY EXCHANGE, TRANSPORTATION, HOTEL, or MINING industries.
- Strong understanding of internal audit principles, techniques, and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and adaptability to changes in the regulatory environment.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as needed for audit assignments.
Salary: OMR 600 to 700 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
