Job Summary

The Senior Analyzer at SMP Jubail is responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of process analyzers. This role involves ensuring quality maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory management to support efficient operations. Additionally, the position requires participation in project activities and providing technical assistance as needed.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining Analyzer Availability: Ensure process analyzers are operational and reliable, providing support for preventive and corrective maintenance as needed.
  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure maintenance and daily checks on analyzers and sampling conditioning systems meet quality standards.
  3. Participation in Project Activities: Participate in FAT, SAT, and safety reviews for new analyzer installations.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Monitor critical analyzer performance and provide regular updates.
  5. Technical Assistance: Assist supervisors and technicians in troubleshooting, investigating causes of instrument failure, and repairing defective instruments.
  6. Coordination with Lab: Coordinate with lab supervisors for analyzing special samples from the process and guide proper sample handling.
  7. Emergency Response: Respond to and support emergency calls related to analyzer operations.
  8. Inventory Management: Maintain adequate spare parts and consumables inventory for equipment maintenance, prepare purchase orders, and update spare parts records.
  9. Technical Evaluation: Provide technical evaluation for new projects, requested materials, and services.
  10. Documentation: Maintain documentation related to maintenance activities, purchase orders, and technical evaluations.

  • Experience: Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: Diploma in a related field.
  • Nationality: Saudi Arabian.
  • Gender: Male.
