Information Technology Manager – SAP | Sohar, Oman

Job Summary:

Join our team at Client of Ambe International in Sohar, Oman, as an Information Technology Manager specializing in SAP. Lead technical support and system maintenance for the entire plant.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Lead a team to deliver technical support and maintain IT systems for the plant.
2. Customer Liaison: Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure services meet departmental needs.
3. Work Planning: Plan team schedules and projects, considering stakeholder needs and operational priorities.
4. System Support: Prioritize maintenance activities, code development, and projects for system support.
5. Quality Assurance: Validate work quality, ensure adherence to standards, and review design documentation.
6. Technical Advice: Provide expertise on capital investments and coordinate activities to support them.
7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor KPIs, report progress, and ensure adequate support contracts are in place.
8. Business Process Knowledge: Translate business logic into IT solutions and understand departmental processes.
9. SAP Expertise: Possess technical knowledge in SAP domains, including SAP Cloud solutions and SAP S/4 Hana.
10. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and oversee SAP project implementations.

• Strong business and process knowledge with experience in relevant departments.
• Technical expertise in SAP domains with experience in SAP projects and change management.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud solutions such as Ariba and Success Factor.
• Excellent vendor management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application, Bachelor of Technology/Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in IT, with at least one domain expertise in SAP.
• Sound understanding of SAP modules, concepts, and landscape.
• Experience in SAP S/4 Hana project implementation and vendor management.
• Ability to work full-time in Sohar, Oman.
