Job Purpose: As a Facilities Supervisor at the Commercial Bank of Qatar, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing maintenance operations for Alternative Assets assigned properties. Your primary focus will be ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of predictive and reactive maintenance, meeting quality parameters and compliance with established policies and procedures. Supervising and adhering to all Maintenance, Safety, and Civil Defense requirements across properties will be essential.The Commercial Bank of Qatar seeks a diligent Facilities Supervisor to ensure the seamless execution of maintenance operations for Alternative Assets assigned properties. Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management:
- Plan, supervise, and schedule overall facility operations, including maintenance, cleaning, painting, and equipment repairs.
- Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are carried out by the MEP/Electro-mech technical team according to schedule.
- Respond to emergency or safety situations promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and associated costs.
- Inspect, diagnose malfunctions, and plan repair methodology for all MEP equipment.
- Coordinate building takeovers and supervise on-ground technical and cleaning teams for effective building maintenance.
Monitoring and Control:
- Monitor and report on maintenance progress and budgets to the line manager.
- Oversee external service providers throughout the maintenance life cycle.
- Ensure thorough monitoring and control of maintenance quality to comply with standards and stakeholders’ needs.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and practices.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
Statements and Reports:
- Prepare PPM summary progress reports and closing-out reports with maintenance status updates.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment:
- Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls.
Related Assignments:
- Maintain up-to-date property civil defense approvals.
- Ensure proper documentation of Alternative Assets property drawings and certificates.
Skills:
- Rigid facilities and maintenance background with strong knowledge of Electromechanical and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to provide creative solutions for efficient maintenance and strategic direction.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to achieve desired results within defined time durations.
- Interact effectively with internal and external customers in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Arabic or English preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar position.
